Lundi 24 mars, 2025, entre 16h00 et 20h00, heure locale, à l'extérieur de chaque consulat et
ambassade des États-Unis au Canada. Nous appelons la population du Québec, unie avec le
Canada, à se tenir forte contre l'ombre menaçante du fascisme, et protester pour la paix, la
souveraineté, la démocratie et les droits de tous et toutes.
Would be coming from out of town. Are you mustering somewhere? Parking? Is there a C-train that we can catch that gets us close to the American Embassy?
The consulate is in Rocky Mountain Plaza, same as the Tim Hortons. Meet outside the tim Hortons around 3:45 if you can. If you’re taking the C-train line get off at City Hall, it’s kitty corner from there. The best option coming from out of town is to park at Dalhousie station (free) and take the train downtown to city hall.
We are meeting in front of Rocky Mountain Plaza, which houses the American Consulate. We will be outside, on the sidewalk, at 7th Ave and McLeod Trail. Yes, there is an LRT station nearby.
There’s plenty of parking in the strip malls in the area and there’s plenty of transit option.
There are few strip malls downtown. There are parkades, and C Trains go down 7th Avenue.
Actually, there are few strip malls in downtown Calgary. However, there are parkades. The least expensive bet is to take public transit downtown.
Actually my Google Maps gave me wrong info but theees lots of Parking near the Jack Singer Hall or in the City Hall Parkade and it’s not a long walk. Downtown Parkign isn’t super cheap mind.

Why are we using AI Gen art in this bruh. At least hire a Canadian artist to make the fist
We’re fairly new and used this free graphic for the poster and temporarily for the site logo. It’s not AI and we are working on our branding. Next one will be intentionally designed by a volunteer or someone we contract to do the graphic design work.
I am a graphic artist and I understand the importance of branding but in this instance all that matters is the message and the mission. Graphics can come later – time is of the essence! Get on board bruh.

Why are we waiting until the consulate has closed for the day? Shouldn’t we start while the place is still open?
We planned around hours we thought people would be most able to attend. The workers aren’t really our intended audience. The location is symbolic. We will not be entering the consulate or harassing the workers.
